ZikrEase is a simple, offline dhikr and tasbeeh counter application developed to help users remember Allah through easy counting and tracking of their zikr.

We take your privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains that ZikrEase collects, stores, or shares almost no personal information.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal data that can identify you. Specifically:

• No name, email, phone number, or any personal identifiers
• No location data
• No device ID, advertising ID, or analytics tracking
• No internet permission is used — the app is 100% offline

The only data stored on your device is:

• Your zikr counts, targets and history (saved locally using SharedPreferences)
• Your dark mode preference (if you manually set it)

All of this data stays only on your device and is never sent anywhere.

3. How We Use Your Data

The locally stored data is used only for these purposes:

• To display your current zikr count and target
• To show history of your daily/weekly/lifetime dhikr
• To remember your last selected zikr and dark mode setting

We do not use your data for any other purpose, advertising, profiling, or sharing.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not share, sell, or disclose any data with any third party because:

• The app does not connect to the internet
• No third-party SDKs or analytics libraries are used
• No cloud backup or sync feature exists

5. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences, it is as secure as the rest of your device's data. We do not transmit any data over the network.

6. Children's Privacy

ZikrEase is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
